The University of Alaska International Polar Year office has invited us to Fairbanks to perform a concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Hering Auditorium.
The concert is a celebration of the unique cultures of the north and their people’s ability to adapt to changes in both cultural and natural landscapes.
For more information check out Celebration of the North website
As you all know we went on tour in the North Slope this winter. We just coincidently found this blog made by a “Kimberlee” in Atqasuk, Alaska, which was one of our village tour stops. It was storming like crazy when we landed, but perfect inside. Check out this video edited with some highlights of the performance for the community.
We’re headed to Europe in July to tour for about a month. Our base will be in Copenhagen, Denmark. We look forward to rock it out with all of our friends over there.

We had a great experience when we went to Anadyr, Russia in 2003 and we will be happy to be back in Russia this fall. If any of our friends will be in in Western Siberia, we are performing in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. We’re totally excited to be playing at this Northern Indigenous Festival. Dates are: September 26th, 27th, and 28th - 2007.
