I am a poet from Chicago and I have made Anchorage my home. You are simply incredible and I loved your unique sound. It was electrifying!!! I am of mixed heritages also and I would love to open for you at some point. I have many poems that would be awesome and you inspired me to write new ones! I am well know in Anchorage due to my local TV show Poetic Soul. If you guys are in town I would love to invite you to my next big event at Out North. I am bringing a nationally known Spoken Word artist named Triple Blak to perform on November 3rd @ 7pm. I know you're traveling but if you can spare some time, please come as my guests? You will love the show. He has been on HBO's Def Poetry Jam three times and we are good friends, success has not jaded him. He is humble.
